Sunflowers
Using lots of scrap paper and recycled paper the children cut and glued their very own gingerbread people. They all came up with their own ideas, gingerbread ninjas, even parents.

Tulips
20/11 - 2017 The Tulips celebrated Universal Children's Day together with the rest of Futuraskolan. We had a lot of fun creating bracelets and necklaces using nothing less than our own pictures. To further decorate them we also had flags, where I'm proud to say we all know our own as well as our friends, but we could of course, in honor of all countries and cultures, pick flags freely. We also used pre-cut (we cut) straws and penne pasta. We found it challenging but exciting and we also detected that the pasta was so much thinner than the straw that it went right through, a surprise bracelet in other words as the pasta was only sometimes visible.

Lilies
We celebrated Universal Children's Day today and talked about the fact although we come from different countries and have different mother tongues, we are all a part of the world and planet Earth where we all live. We also presented international books from different countries Lilies are coming from in different languages.

Lilies
This week we started talking about Thanksgiving with the children.
The children made Indians hats with colored paper. They cut and colored some feathers and we wrote on each feather what they are thankful for. We are going to wear them next week during our Thanksgiving lunch.
