Sunflowers
The Sunflowers were fascinated by VR and AR so we researched together and found AR Cards that we can make ourselves! Sunflowers printed the right PDF from an iPad, cut the cards out, prepared laminating sheets and laminated them. They are ready for everyone to use, they really enjoyed trying out something more advanced technology-wise that they made themselves! Way to go, sunflowers!

Maths and IT Day
Lilies work with shapes, numbers, patterns, sizes and they do
adding using different little toys…The 7th of March is “The International Maths Day”. In the morning we made crafts recycling colorful sheets of paper cut into all the shapes that we studied last weeks (triangles, squares, rectangles and circles). We counted together (from 1 to 20) using tiny and big balls and we started to do adding (like 2+2=4).
In the afternoon we had some activities outside! In our first station the game was to find set amount of things (3 spades, 6 baskets, 15 leaves, 7 stones) and bring them back to the teachers. Another activity was to find Snoopy that has the same pattern (if a child had a Snoopy with cherry pattern, he/she needed to find the same). It was very funny for the children because they played <hide and seek
