Today the Sunflowers learned about plant and growth: from the seed stage to full growth and then decay. In their respective groups they placed black bean with water to watch them slowly sprout throughout the weeks.The children also enjoyed drawing the plant life cycle, which encouraged the children to grasp the concept by describing it in a drawing. They learned about the flora and fauna of the rainforest! They also explored the cycle of a butterfly and the importance of every stage.
We have been working on the following Lpfö goals: “develop their understanding of science and chemical processes and physical phenomena.”
