The tulips also got to do an group activity using the parachute. Everyone got to hold one handle as the stood around it in a big circle lifting the parachute up and down creating wonderful waves. After getting a hang of how to do it they got to try doing it with a boll rolling inside the parachute. This was so exciting for them and everyone wanted to participate and run under the lovely colorful rainbow parachute.
Our activity met the following goal, as specified by Lpfö 98 - 2010:
Develop their curiosity and enjoyment at the same time as the ability to play and learn
Develop their motor skills, ability to co-ordinate, awareness of their own body, as well as an understanding of the importance of maintaining their own health and well-being.
