Today was a big day for all children in Futuraskolan Danderyd as it was our Art Show and Market Day! In the morning,all the groups were very busy in the dining room, baking and making delicious cookies and cakes for our fika sale. The Sunflowers were really excited to mix all the ingredients and help us make a very “yummy” vanilla cake. The Art Exhibition and the sale of second-hand kids toys and clothes started in the afternoon. Parents really enjoyed seeing all those wonderful works of art, but especially our little masterpieces- Self-Portraits, Clay Butterflies and Glass Jar Candle Holders. They also had a lot of fun trying out our delicious cookies and cakes and chatting with the teachers and other parents in the dining room. The Art Show and Market Day were very successful and we are all happy and glad to say that we raised a lot of money for our Summer Party in June.
