Sunflowers

Sunflowers : Terrariums

Children collected their jars. They added stones, sand and soil to them, in layers. Then they added alfalfa seeds to the soil and watered them. The Sunflowers now have their very own terrariums. The seeds are already starting to sprout!

We have been working on the following Lpfö goals:

“ develop their understanding of science and relationships to nature, as well as knowledge of plants, animals and also simple chemical processes and physical phenomena”

“develop their ability to build, create and construct using different techniques, materials and tools”
